XLand at a Glance

XLand 1.3 uses Minecraft 26.2 with Fabric 0.19.3. Its 79-mod collection concentrates on performance, interface improvements, maps, information displays, animation, and visual polish rather than adding a large technology or magic progression tree.

Recognisable additions include Sodium, Iris, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, Jade, JEI, AppleSkin, BetterF3, and Xaero’s mapping mods. Many of these improve what individual players see or how their game client runs.

For a server owner, that makes XLand a good fit for communal building, exploration, and long-lived survival worlds where players want useful extras without learning an entirely new game.

Hosting Considerations for XLand

Client Mods and Server Performance

Much of XLand’s mod list affects rendering, shaders, menus, maps, or other client-side features. Those additions do not automatically increase server load, and client optimisation mods do not improve server tick rate.

The server still handles world simulation, entity activity, farms, redstone, and chunk generation. Rapid exploration by several players is usually more demanding than the pack’s interface and visual additions. Large automated farms or heavily populated areas can also cause lag despite the relatively light mod selection.

XLand can generally begin with a modest server plan. Leave some memory headroom for Fabric, the active world, and simultaneous exploration rather than allocating every available gigabyte. If tick times rise, check what the server is processing before simply adding RAM; Minecraft often needs stronger CPU performance or a troublesome area cleaned up instead.

Versions, Mods, and Updates

Keep the Minecraft version, Fabric loader, and server-compatible mods aligned with the pack release. Client-only files should not be treated as required server mods.
