Your Veiny Zombies server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Veiny Zombies server

Host Veiny Zombies as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on base to build, automate and defend. We handle the server side while you concentrate on making the walls zombie-proof.

  • One-click installation gets the correct Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge setup running quickly.
  • Premium is recommended for the pack’s 150 mods, automation and active hostile mobs.
  • Home-hosted servers can struggle when mob AI and large factories compete for CPU time.
  • Casual hosting becomes awkward once several players explore, fight and load machinery at once.
  • Protected networking keeps your shared world reachable without exposing someone’s home connection.

Inside Veiny Zombies

Veiny Zombies mixes fortified survival with a substantial technology progression. Its undead are more capable than ordinary Minecraft mobs, making a defended base a necessity rather than a decorative weekend project.

Create, Mekanism and Industrial Foregoing give your team plenty of machinery to build around. Turrets, vehicles, drones and weapon-focused mods support a more direct approach when the perimeter fails. Terralith expands the world beyond the base, while storage, cooking and building additions give long-running communities useful side projects.

It is primarily a technology pack, but Ars Nouveau adds some magic to the toolbox. The result works particularly well for groups that enjoy dividing jobs between engineers, explorers and whoever volunteered to test the new defences.

Hosting Considerations for Veiny Zombies

A pack of this size usually benefits from strong single-core CPU performance and comfortable memory headroom. Premium is the sensible starting range, especially for an established world or a group expecting several players online together.

Hostile mobs with advanced navigation, block interaction or target tracking can take more server time than standard zombies. Large attacks may therefore expose lag that remains hidden during quiet periods. Automated Create contraptions, Mekanism processing lines, item pipes and loaded machines can add to that pressure if players leave them running without limits.

New terrain generation is another common source of brief tick spikes. Exploring in different directions at the same time is harder on the server than travelling through existing chunks. Pre-generating the area around your base can make routine journeys smoother, though distant expeditions will still generate terrain normally.

Start with the pack’s intended settings, then watch actual tick timings before changing mob behaviour or machine limits. Reducing simulation distance can help a busy server, but cutting it too aggressively may interfere with nearby defences. Bundled shader packs affect players’ own computers rather than the server, so client frame rate should be tuned separately.

Back up the world before pack updates or major configuration changes. With interconnected technology mods, a small config adjustment can have wider consequences than expected.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft the native CPU performance it needs when zombies, machinery and several players all get busy together.

CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating tick lag instead of leaving you to guess which chunk or machine is misbehaving. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain likely causes and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

We have hosted large modded communities for more than 13 years, and real support staff are available when your supposedly secure base turns into a crater—and the console joins in.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
