New World Reimagined is a broad Vanilla+ adventure pack for Minecraft 1.20.1, built on Forge 47.4.10. Its 343 mods expand the parts of Minecraft that naturally work well with friends: biomes, terrain, structures, dimensions, creatures, farming, building, bosses, and longer-term progression.

Recognisable additions include Alex’s Mobs, The Undergarden, Unusual End, Supplementaries, Sophisticated Backpacks, Waystones, and Lootr. Together, they give players more reasons to roam without turning the server into a factory spreadsheet or requiring everyone to learn an entirely new game on day one.

Better with a Shared World

This pack suits groups that enjoy spreading out, comparing discoveries, and returning to a communal base between expeditions. Lootr helps make generated loot friendlier to multiplayer, while Waystones can reduce repeated travel once your group has established routes.

The expanded mid-game and end-game also make an always-online server worthwhile. Different players can build, farm, explore dimensions, or prepare for bosses on their own schedule, rather than tying the whole world to one person’s PC and availability.

Although this is a Vanilla+ pack, its size and exploration focus deserve more breathing room than a basic Minecraft server. New terrain, structures, mobs, and dimensions commonly make chunk generation one of the busiest moments, especially when several players head in different directions at once.

Strong single-core CPU performance matters here. Memory use will also tend to rise as the world grows, players explore separate areas, and more dimensions remain active. Keep the server and every player on the pack’s matching Minecraft, Forge, and modpack versions. Mixing releases is a common route to failed connections or registry errors.

View distance and simulation distance are worth setting sensibly rather than simply pushing to their maximums. If exploration causes lag, profile the server before removing mods or changing random settings; chunk generation, entities, and one troublesome area can look very similar from a player’s perspective.
