GWJ is a Minecraft modpack designed for CreeperHost hosting, bringing a 1.20.1 Forge experience focused on exploration, adventure, RPG elements, multiplayer, vanilla-plus improvements, and technology.
Explore a Larger Minecraft World
GWJ expands exploration with varied biomes, improved caves, and enhanced structures. Biomes O’ Plenty adds environmental variety, while YUNG’s Better Caves, temples, fortresses, strongholds, witch huts, and end islands give familiar locations fresh layouts. Nature’s Compass and Explorer’s Compass help with finding biomes and structures, while Waystones make returning to discovered places more convenient.
The pack also includes destinations beyond the Overworld. The Aether, Twilight Forest, and Deeper and Darker offer distinct areas to investigate, with new sights, challenges, and rewards to uncover.
Adventure, Combat, and Progression
Adventure-focused content includes Mowzie’s Mobs, Living Things, Simply Swords, Artifacts, and improved loot features. These additions support an RPG-style journey through dangerous areas while giving exploration more variety. Goblin Traders, Lootr, and Eclectic Trove add further reasons to search structures and travel through the world.
Progression is supported by tools such as Advanced Netherite, Iron Furnaces, Sophisticated Backpacks, and FTB Ultimine. Farming and food receive extra options through Farmer’s Delight and Alex’s Delight, while Elytra Slot, Carry On, Easy Shulker Boxes, and inventory improvements reduce everyday friction.
Quality-of-Life Features
GWJ includes a broad set of practical enhancements without moving away from familiar Minecraft gameplay. JourneyMap supports navigation, Jade and Jade Addons provide useful information, and Enchantment Descriptions make equipment choices clearer. Polymorph helps resolve recipe conflicts, while Trade Cycling, Easy Anvils, Mouse Tweaks, Just Zoom, and Inventory Profiles Next make common tasks more comfortable.
Building also benefits from diagonal fences and windows, torch management, bridging tools, and decorative improvements. Sound, lighting, and visual options are supported by AmbientSounds, Presence Footsteps, Sound Physics Remastered, Oculus, and related configuration tools.
CreeperHost Features for GWJ
