Your Draconia - The Return server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Draconia - The Return server

Host Draconia - The Return as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and let your group explore, fight dragons, practise magic, and build a kingdom in one shared world—without relying on somebody’s PC staying switched on.

  • Quick setup: Install the Forge 1.20.1 pack through CreeperPanel.
  • Premium recommended: Better matched to a growing, long-running world.
  • No home-PC bottleneck: New terrain generation can make casual hosting stutter.
  • No absent host: Friends can play even when the usual organiser is offline.
  • Practical help: Diagnose lag without blindly removing mods.

A Dragon-Filled RPG World

Draconia - The Return is a 104-mod adventure and RPG pack for Minecraft 1.20.1, running on Forge. Its world is built for expeditions: varied biomes, additional dimensions, large structures, dungeons, new creatures, seasonal changes, and plenty of dangerous places worth looting.

Recognisable parts of the pack include Biomes O’ Plenty, BetterEnd, Dungeon Crawl, Ars Nouveau, Alex’s Mobs, Farmer’s Delight, Waystones, and MineColonies. That mix gives groups several ways to progress. Some players can chase equipment and relics, others can develop magic, while the builders turn a settlement into a defended kingdom.

CreeperPanel handles installation and pack updates, preserving your configuration changes rather than making you rebuild the server setup each time.

Hosting Considerations for Draconia - The Return

Adventure packs often place their heaviest demands on the server when players spread out. Each expedition can generate terrain, structures, mobs, and loot while the server also keeps established bases running. If several players travel in different directions at once, a home machine or lightly provisioned server may struggle to keep chunk generation smooth.

MineColonies can also increase ongoing server activity as settlements expand. More colonists, larger builds, loaded areas, and active players generally mean more ticking work. This is not necessarily a problem, but it makes CPU performance increasingly important as the world matures.

For that reason, we recommend starting in our Premium range, particularly for an active group planning a lasting world. It gives the pack more breathing room during exploration and later settlement growth. Memory needs can vary with group size, world age, and play style, so avoid allocating excessive RAM without evidence; Java garbage collection can become less tidy rather than more helpful.

Pre-generating the main exploration area can reduce chunk-generation spikes around busy launch periods. Sensible view distances and occasional checks for heavily loaded colonies or mob-filled areas also go a long way.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our Hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware selected for modded Minecraft, helping when Draconia is generating new regions or running developed settlements.

CreeperPanel includes tools for checking lag and managing mods or configuration files through a GUI. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain likely trouble spots, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve. If things get properly strange, real support staff bring more than 13 years of modded-server experience to the problem.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
