Explore a Renewed World

JIB focuses heavily on discovering what lies beyond the starting area. Tectonic reshapes terrain with dramatic mountain ranges, deep valleys, and expansive landscapes that create new reasons to travel.

Underground and surface structures also receive attention. YUNG’s additions redesign locations such as mineshafts, strongholds, and desert temples, making exploration more varied and giving dungeons a stronger sense of place. Additional structures, creatures, equipment, and world features add further variety across the journey.

The route to the End is also reimagined through End Remastered. Rather than following the usual straightforward path, players must travel widely, investigate dangerous locations, and seek out twelve unique hidden eyes before opening the End Portal.

Create provides JIB’s main engineering focus. Players can construct kinetic machines, automate gathering, and connect mechanical systems using gears, belts, and moving components. The pack expands this direction with additions covering trains, vehicles, cannons, chimneys, encased machinery, farming, and other industrial designs.

Technology does not replace the exploration focus. It gives groups a way to turn discoveries into useful workshops, transport systems, farms, and ambitious shared projects.
