VanillaZ is a Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge pack built around a harsher zombie-survival experience. It stays closer to familiar Minecraft than a sprawling technology or magic pack, but makes nights, combat, preparation, and base defence much more important.

Entity Load and Tick Speed

Large concentrations of mobs can increase pathfinding and AI work, particularly around shared bases where several players have gathered. Farms, dropped items, and loaded machines are less central here than in a major tech pack, so entity management is usually the first place to look when tick time climbs.

Keep unnecessary mobs and loose items under control. If players build far apart, the server must also keep more areas active while they are online. Built-in performance tools can help separate an entity problem from chunk generation or a troublesome configuration.
