Terramodda is a mixed Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge pack with 183 mods. It gives players several paths to follow rather than pushing the whole server down one progression track.

Create, Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, and Mystical Agriculture cover automation and production. Ars additions and Occultism bring magical options, while The Twilight Forest, The Undergarden, Cataclysm, and expanded structures give explorers plenty of reasons to leave the base.

Terramodda is not among the largest modpacks, but mod count alone does not determine server load. Performance commonly changes as the world grows and players build more complex bases.

Exploration and terrain generation

Fast travel in different directions forces the server to generate several areas simultaneously. New dimensions and structure-heavy exploration can create short CPU or disk spikes, especially when multiple players split up.

Pre-generating frequently used regions can make early exploration smoother. Sensible world borders also stop abandoned terrain from inflating backups indefinitely.

Automation and long-term worlds
