Outbreak Protocol - Dead Horizon
A survival-horror modpack set in a world overrun by zombies, mutants, and the occasional armed human faction. Barricade at night, scavenge ruined cities by day, and don't get caught out in a storm — thunder makes zombies hear you from farther away.
⚠️ Before you install — please read
This is my first modpack . I'm not a professional pack developer, I don't have a fixed roadmap, and I'm genuinely figuring a lot of this out as I go. The mod selection reflects what I personally enjoy playing — it is not trying to be a "complete" or "meta" pack, and it will change shape based on what players report back. Bug reports, balance complaints, and "please add/remove X" suggestions are not just welcome, they're basically how this pack is going to be finished.
This pack does not include Create (or any Create-based mods/add-ons). If you're joining expecting Create-style automation/contraptions, this isn't that pack — it's focused on survival, combat, and atmosphere instead.
Core themes
Survival pressure
Cold Sweat (temperature) + Thirst was Taken (hydration) stacked on top of vanilla hunger — you have three separate resources to manage, not just food.
AppleSkin for clear at-a-glance food/saturation info.
Combat & firearms
TaCZ (Timeless & Classics: Guns) as the core firearms system, extended with several TaCZ add-ons (attachments, optimization, extra weapons).
Combat Roll for dodge-based melee, Better Combat for weapon variety.
Gunfire carries — firing your weapon draws zombies from a distance, so silencers and positioning actually matter.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
