Your Tekkit Neo server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Tekkit Neo server

Host Tekkit Neo as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-online home for shared factories, transport systems, storage networks, and increasingly ambitious engineering.

  • Install the NeoForge pack in a click rather than assembling it by hand.
  • Pack updates preserve your server’s configuration changes.
  • Home hosting stops when the PC sleeps, reboots, or loses its connection.
  • A spare PC quickly becomes another machine you must update and monitor.
  • DDoS protection helps keep public and private communities reachable.

Tekkit Neo at a Glance

Tekkit Neo is a technology-focused automation pack for Minecraft 1.21.1, running on NeoForge. Its 287 mods make it a large pack with plenty of room for a long-running multiplayer world rather than a quick weekend playthrough.

Recognisable parts of the pack include Applied Energistics 2, BuildCraft, ProjectE, ProjectRed, RFTools, Mekanism Generators, and numerous Create-related additions. Together, they give players plenty of ways to approach power, logistics, construction, processing, and storage.

There is exploration alongside the machinery, but automation is the main event. A shared server lets each player tackle a different project while everyone benefits from the resulting resources and systems.

Hosting Considerations for Tekkit Neo

Large technology packs commonly become more demanding as the world matures. A fresh base may run lightly, while an established one can contain hundreds of active machines, pipes, storage devices, farms, and colony entities. Server performance depends more on what players build than the number of days the world has existed.

Automation and ticking machines

Machines that process continuously, large item networks, rapid farms, and permanently loaded chunks all add work to each server tick. Spread-out bases can also keep more areas active at once.

It helps to avoid leaving unused systems running forever and to inspect factories when tick times begin climbing. Tekkit Neo benefits from strong single-core CPU performance, particularly once several players have independent automation projects.

Exploration and world growth

Players travelling in different directions generate chunks simultaneously, which can produce short bursts of heavier CPU and storage activity. Pre-generating the expected play area can smooth out early exploration, while a sensible world border prevents uncontrolled growth.

Memory needs commonly rise with active players, loaded chunks, and complex bases. Avoid assigning excessive memory without evidence that it is needed; healthy Java performance also requires room for garbage collection. For this pack, we recommend beginning with the Premium range and adjusting from real server usage rather than guesswork.

Back up the world before pack updates or major configuration changes, especially once player automation networks become difficult to rebuild.

Why Run Tekkit Neo with CreeperHost?

Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra-based liquid-cooled hardware chosen with modded Minecraft in mind.

CreeperPanel includes tools for tracking down lag and checking server behaviour. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can review the current server and panel state, explain likely causes, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

We have hosted large modded communities for over 13 years. When a factory behaves, the panel handles the routine jobs; when it does something spectacularly strange, real CreeperHost people are ready to help.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
