Your Farmers Journey server, with the useful bits included.

Host your Farmers Journey server

Host Farmers Journey as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and let everyone build the same farming settlement, share harvests, raise pets, and explore without waiting for one player’s PC to come online.

  • Keep the world running while crops grow and players come and go.
  • Avoid home-hosting slowdowns when farms, pets, and explored chunks accumulate.
  • Skip manual pack setup with one-click installation through CreeperPanel.
  • Move beyond casual hosting when several players explore or expand at once.
  • Get practical help from people experienced with long-running modded worlds.

A Farming-First Minecraft Server

Farmers Journey is a Forge 1.20.1 pack that shifts progression away from routine mining and towards crops, food, animals, and homestead building. Its 93-mod lineup includes Farmer’s Delight expansions, Croptopia, Mystical Agriculture, Doggy Talents Next, Simply Cats, Quark, and several furniture collections.

The result works particularly well for a shared world. Players can divide up fields, kitchens, animal care, exploration, and decorating rather than racing through a conventional mining ladder. Biomes O’ Plenty, Regions Unexplored, and Oh The Biomes We’ve Gone add reasons to venture beyond the farm.

CreeperPanel can install the pack in a few clicks and handle updates while preserving your configuration changes.

Hosting Considerations for Farmers Journey

Farmers Journey is relatively compact by modern modpack standards, but world age matters as much as the initial mod count. A fresh server for a few friends is usually straightforward. An established settlement with dense crop fields, many pets, furniture-filled builds, and players spread across the map will ask more from the server.

Common pressure points include:

  • Entity-heavy farms: Large animal collections and pets can increase tick time, especially when gathered in one loaded area.
  • New terrain generation: Exploring biome-rich worlds can cause short CPU spikes while the server creates fresh chunks.
  • Constantly loaded areas: Farms keep doing work when their chunks remain active, so sprawling bases can gradually become more demanding.
  • Client visuals: Included shader and animation options affect each player’s computer rather than the server. Players can lower those settings without changing the shared world.

For a small, tidy group, the pack does not need an oversized server. Premium is the better starting range for a busier community, frequent exploration, or a world intended to run for months. Strong single-core CPU performance is especially useful when Minecraft has to process active farms, entities, and chunk generation together.

Back up the world before pack updates or major configuration changes. It is also worth setting sensible expectations around pet numbers and keeping rarely used areas from staying loaded indefinitely.

Why Run It with CreeperHost?

Our Hybrid VPS platform uses modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra processors chosen for modded Minecraft’s CPU-heavy moments. That helps when the whole group returns to town with new chunks generating in the background.

Built-in diagnostics help identify whether lag is coming from entities, chunks, or something a player built. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.

When the farm gets weird, real CreeperHost support is still here—with more than 13 years spent hosting modded communities.

Got questions?

Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.

Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
