Modern Infinity at a Glance
Modern Infinity is an extra-large NeoForge pack for Minecraft 1.21.1, built around technology and guided progression. Modern Industrialization and Mekanism sit at its core, with quests giving your group direction as production chains become more involved.
Applied Energistics 2, Industrial Foregoing, Flux Networks, and Mystical Agriculture add storage, automation, power management, and resource production. Exploration content, structures, building choices, food, flowers, equipment upgrades, and creative quests give players other jobs when someone else has claimed the factory floor.
That breadth works particularly well in multiplayer. One person can develop power, another can organise storage, and the adventurers can return with materials—or another backpack full of things nobody remembers requesting.
Hosting Considerations for Modern Infinity
A pack this large commonly needs more headroom than a lightly modded server. Startup loads hundreds of mods and their data, while active play adds generated terrain, machines, inventories, item networks, farms, and chunk loading.
Premium is the sensible starting point for most Modern Infinity groups. The right service size depends on how many people play together, how widely they explore, and how aggressively they automate. A fresh world with a few friends is very different from a months-old world full of processing lines and shared storage systems.
Keep growing worlds tidy
Technology packs usually become heavier over time rather than all at once. Poorly controlled chunk loading, oversized farms, loose items, and constantly active machines can gradually lower tick performance. That does not mean you should avoid big builds; it means automation benefits from sensible switches, buffers, and boundaries.
Exploration can also create short CPU spikes when several players generate new terrain in different directions. Keeping the server on fast storage and strong single-core CPU performance helps it recover cleanly.
Before pack updates, take a backup and check that every player is using the matching Modern Infinity version. NeoForge, mod, and configuration mismatches are common causes of failed joins after an update.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on liquid-cooled Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra hardware chosen with modded Minecraft in mind. That matters when a busy factory and fresh terrain generation compete for the same tick.
CreeperPanel includes tools for inspecting lag and managing mods or configuration files without turning routine changes into command-line archaeology. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can check the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When something genuinely odd happens, our support team brings more than 13 years of modded hosting experience to the problem.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
