Classic Horizons is a Minecraft 1.12.2 modpack built for CreeperHost hosting, combining exploration, technology, magic, farming, and adventure through Forge.
Explore Diverse Worlds
Travel through varied biomes generated with Biomes O’ Plenty, discover new places, and encounter creatures from Mo’ Creatures and Mutant Beasts. Dangerous mobs add extra challenge, while JourneyMap, Hwyla, and Just Enough Items help you understand the world around you and find useful information as you play.
Build Technology and Magic
Classic Horizons supports a broad progression of machinery and automation. Thermal Expansion, Ender IO, Applied Energistics 2, Solar Flux Reborn, and related technology mods provide tools for processing materials, managing power, and improving storage.
Magic progression comes through Botania and Blood Magic, offering an alternative path alongside technical development. Tinkers’ Construct expands equipment options, while Chisel and Better Builder’s Wands give builders more ways to shape their bases.
Farming, Storage, and Survival
Farming receives expanded content through Pam’s HarvestCraft, Mystical Agriculture, Chickens, Hatchery, Roost, and related additions. Cooking for Blockheads makes food preparation easier, while Iron Chests, Colossal Chests, and Applied Energistics 2 provide more ways to organise items.
Quality-of-life features include Carry On, Mouse Tweaks, AppleSkin, Controlling, Ore Excavation, Clumps, and Not Enough Wands. Tombstone adds a recovery-focused feature for adventuring, while Mob Grinding Utils and Void Hopper support automated mob handling.
CreeperHost Tools for Classic Horizons
CreeperPanel provides one-click installation for modpacks and updates that preserve your configuration changes. Built-in tools help you manage files, mods, settings, players, inventories, worlds, and backups from one place. They also help diagnose lag when you need to investigate a problem.
