Your Beyond Extinction server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Beyond Extinction server
Host Beyond Extinction as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your survivors an always-on world for raids, exploration, gunfights, and whatever the infected throw at them next.
- Premium is our recommended range for this large, long-running pack.
- Local hosting ties the world to one player’s PC and internet connection.
- Casual hosts can struggle when several players explore and generate chunks at once.
- One-click installation gets the correct pack build running without manual file wrangling.
- DDoS protection helps keep public and community servers reachable.
A Hostile World Built for Groups
Beyond Extinction is a Forge 1.20.1 survival pack with around 400 mods. Its focus sits firmly on infection horror, difficult combat, exploration, firearms, and multiplayer challenges. This is less about building a peaceful cottage and more about making sure the cottage has reinforced doors.
Recognisable parts of the pack include FTB Quests, SecurityCraft, Storage Drawers, Majrusz’s Difficulty, Undead Nights, and TACZ-related content. Together, they support structured progression, tougher encounters, base security, and practical storage between expeditions.
CreeperPanel can install the pack in a click and handle later updates while preserving your configuration changes. That matters when your group has adjusted difficulty or other server settings and does not want every update to become a repair job.
Hosting Considerations for Beyond Extinction
Large Forge packs commonly need more memory than ordinary Minecraft, but memory alone is not the whole story. Beyond Extinction also has combat systems, hostile mob activity, structures, quests, and world generation competing for server tick time. Strong single-thread CPU performance is particularly useful when several players head in different directions.
New chunk generation will usually create the sharpest load spikes. If your group plans to explore aggressively, generating part of the world in advance can make live play smoother. It also helps to set sensible view and simulation distances rather than pushing them higher simply because the option exists.
Long-running worlds tend to grow in both file size and complexity. Mob-heavy areas, accumulated dropped items, automated builds, and widely scattered player bases can gradually affect performance. Regular restarts and occasional checks with profiling tools are healthier than waiting until every firefight starts feeling slow.
Keep the server, pack version, and Forge build aligned. Beyond Extinction currently targets Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.20, and mismatched client or server files are a common cause of failed joins. Make configuration changes one at a time and retain backups before pack updates or larger adjustments.
For an active group, Premium gives this heavier pack better breathing room as the world expands.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC, and Intel Ultra-based machines chosen with modded Minecraft in mind.
Built-in diagnostics help track down tick lag, overloaded areas, and other performance trouble. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds, and prepare safe next steps for you to approve.
We have spent more than 13 years hosting modded communities. When Beyond Extinction gets strange, you can talk to people who understand Forge servers rather than reading from a generic game-hosting script.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
