A Hostile World Built for Groups

Beyond Extinction is a Forge 1.20.1 survival pack with around 400 mods. Its focus sits firmly on infection horror, difficult combat, exploration, firearms, and multiplayer challenges. This is less about building a peaceful cottage and more about making sure the cottage has reinforced doors.

Recognisable parts of the pack include FTB Quests, SecurityCraft, Storage Drawers, Majrusz’s Difficulty, Undead Nights, and TACZ-related content. Together, they support structured progression, tougher encounters, base security, and practical storage between expeditions.

New chunk generation will usually create the sharpest load spikes. If your group plans to explore aggressively, generating part of the world in advance can make live play smoother.
