More Than Real runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.10. It reshapes familiar survival around slower progression, realistic animals, expanded food, medieval structures, decoration, and exploration.

Ordinary tree punching is off the table, while the Nether and End are unavailable. That keeps attention on the Overworld: establishing settlements, finding structures, preparing food, collecting practical gear, and making the landscape feel lived in.

Its 208 mods include recognisable additions such as Farmer’s Delight, Naturalist, Supplementaries, Tectonic, Towns and Towers, and Another Furniture. Together, they make this more than a lightly altered vanilla server without turning it into a sprawling factory pack.

Building a Shared Overworld

With no late-game dimension rush, your world becomes the main event. That works particularly well for groups that enjoy communal villages, roleplay, survival rules, or PvP with more deliberate progression.

The expanded cooking and building choices give players useful jobs beyond mining, while wildlife and generated structures reward travelling. Because exploration matters, agree early on whether players can scatter freely or should develop around a shared region. A little coordination can reduce unnecessary world growth and keep the community from becoming several lonely map markers.
