Bumilius is a Minecraft modpack for CreeperHost hosting, built for Fabric on Minecraft 1.20.1. As an exploration-focused Vanilla+ experience, it reshapes the familiar game with new terrain, biomes, mobs, mechanics, and broader changes to core gameplay.
A Changed Minecraft Adventure
Bumilius began as a pack created for friends, with an emphasis on making exploration feel fresh without abandoning Minecraft’s foundations. World generation receives new possibilities through mods such as Explorify, Lithosphere, Nature’s Spirit, and End Reborn. The Nether and End also receive additional attention, while seasonal changes add another layer to the world.
The pack changes more than scenery. New creatures and encounters appear through additions such as Critters and Companions, Friends and Foes, Enderman Overhaul, and Capybaras. There are also expanded options for equipment, crafting, enchanting, storage, travel, and trading.
Exploration and Discovery
Bumilius supports players who enjoy finding new places, creatures, resources, and points of interest. Nature’s Compass helps with locating biomes, while Just Enough Resources and Jade provide useful information during play. Completion-focused tools, advancement improvements, and a searchable interface help make discoveries easier to track.
The included content also adds variety to familiar systems. Seasonal changes, expanded Nether content, additional End features, new flowers, armor variants, horse armor, and decorative blocks contribute to a world that feels distinct from a standard playthrough. Durability has been removed from the pack’s design because it was considered an unwanted part of the experience.
