Your The Midnight Central server, with the useful bits included.
Host your The Midnight Central server
Host The Midnight Central as a CreeperHost multiplayer server and give your group a shared world where its factories, storage systems, magic and exploration can keep progressing between sessions.
- One-click installation gets the correct NeoForge pack onto your server quickly.
- Updates preserve your configuration changes instead of flattening your setup.
- Home hosting ties the world to one player’s PC, connection and schedule.
- Casual hosting can struggle once automation, mobs and explored chunks accumulate.
- Premium is our recommended range for a growing or long-running world.
What to Expect from The Midnight Central
The Midnight Central runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge and includes 238 mods. It builds outward from survival rather than replacing it with a rigid quest-driven format, giving players plenty of room to choose their own projects.
Create and its many additions support mechanical builds and production lines. Applied Energistics extensions, Sophisticated Storage and Pipez offer increasingly capable storage and item movement, while Immersive Engineering, Extreme Reactors and Mystical Agriculture broaden the technology side.
There is also magic from Occultism, Forbidden and Arcanus, and Apotheosis, alongside practical additions such as Farmer’s Delight, Waystones, Lootr and FTB Ultimine. It is a mixed pack with enough breadth for builders, explorers and automation enthusiasts to share one world without chasing identical goals.
Hosting Considerations for The Midnight Central
Performance as the world develops
A fresh server will commonly be easier to run than the same world several months later. Create contraptions, storage networks, mob farms, machinery and chunk-loading can all add ongoing tick work. No single machine is necessarily a problem; sprawling builds left running across many bases are where server owners usually notice the difference.
Strong CPU performance matters for keeping ticks moving smoothly. Memory demand can also rise with player activity, loaded dimensions and larger worlds. For that reason, we generally point established groups towards Premium rather than treating this as a basic entry-level server.
Generating new terrain while several players are building or fighting can cause temporary spikes. Exploring in smaller groups, pre-generating frequently used areas and avoiding unnecessary chunk loaders can help keep busy sessions calmer.
Configuration and maintenance
Keep the server and every client on the same pack release. Modded connection problems are often caused by one mismatched mod or configuration rather than the server itself.
Regular backups are particularly valuable before pack updates or major configuration changes. A sensible restart schedule can also clear accumulated memory pressure, although repeated crashes or persistent low tick rates need diagnosis rather than ever-more-frequent restarts.
As your world grows, check unattended factories, mob farms and item networks before blaming raw memory. A jammed production line or thousands of loose entities can hurt an otherwise healthy server surprisingly quickly.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded servers native CPU performance on modern Ryzen, EPYC and Intel Ultra hardware, which is useful when The Midnight Central becomes more machine than midnight.
CreeperPanel includes tools for tracking down lag and performance trouble. On eligible Premium and Pro plans, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain what it finds and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
When the odd problem needs a human, our team brings more than 13 years of experience hosting modded Minecraft communities.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
