That matters when character building and combat are part of the session. A setting change can alter how your group approaches the next challenge, so being able to make it cleanly and keep it through updates saves needless repeat work.

Protect progress between battles

A bad update or mod experiment shouldn’t mean replaying character progress, lost gear, or a long trip into the unknown. On Premium and Pro, SaveGuard keeps incremental recovery points on separate backup storage, rather than using your allocated server disk for a stack of full copies.

Unchanged file chunks are shared between recovery points, which lets CreeperPanel keep a useful history without duplicating everything each time. You can see the available points for your active world and pick one when something needs undoing.

Before a restore, SaveGuard backs up the current state and shows which files would be added, changed, or removed. That preview gives you a chance to spot what the rollback will affect before committing. When friends have carried on building, exploring, or preparing for another fight, that extra check can prevent one fix creating a fresh mess.

Bring stranded explorers back

Exploration and combat can leave somebody stuck far from the rest of the group, especially after a rough encounter. Player Manager shows where a player is, along with what they are carrying or wearing, so you can work out what happened without guessing.

When a friend is stranded, you can move them somewhere safe from the panel and get the session moving again. There’s no need to turn a rescue into an evening of command hunting while everyone waits.
