CURSED_WONDERLAND.jar is a Minecraft 1.20.1 horror and exploration pack built around The Wonderland. Its 44-mod selection reshapes modern Minecraft with beta-era presentation, oppressive darkness, altered caves, old-looking structures and deliberately uncanny audiovisual effects.

Moderner Beta and Nostalgic Tweaks help establish the older Minecraft character, while Darkness and Sound Physics Remastered contribute to the atmosphere. Performance-oriented additions including FerriteCore and Embeddium are also present, although some visual optimisations primarily affect players’ clients rather than the server.

This is a focused pack rather than an enormous kitchen-sink collection. The appeal comes from exploring together, comparing sightings and deciding who has to enter the suspicious cave first.

Keeping the group reasonably close during the first session often makes initial world generation smoother. A world border or pregenerated play area may help if you expect a larger group to roam widely.

Memory needs commonly grow with player activity, loaded chunks and world age rather than mod count alone. Leave some headroom instead of assigning only enough memory for an empty startup. Premium is the sensible starting range for a busier group or a world intended to run for months, particularly when players habitually scatter.
