Your Plagued Sun 1.20.1 [CurseForge/UNSUPPORTED] Plagued Sun 1.12.zip [7897167] server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Plagued Sun 1.20.1 [CurseForge/UNSUPPORTED] Plagued Sun 1.12.zip [7897167] server
Host Plagued Sun as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group a shared race against an increasingly hostile world. The surface is running out of time, so every expedition, bunker and hard-won upgrade matters more when your whole crew can log in independently.
- One-click setup: Install the correct Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric pack without assembling 185 mods by hand.
- Updates without needless rework: Pack updates preserve your configuration changes.
- No spare-PC bottleneck: Exploration, hostile mobs and world generation can quickly compete with whatever else a home computer is doing.
- No host-player dependency: Your campaign remains available when the person who usually opens the world is offline.
- Premium recommended: A stronger starting point for a substantial, evolving pack intended to run over a longer campaign.
What Is Plagued Sun?
Plagued Sun is a horror-led survival, adventure and technology pack built around a 100-day catastrophe. As the Sun becomes increasingly dangerous, players are pushed away from familiar surface life and towards underground survival.
The pack mixes quests, escalating enemies, cave structures and specialised progression. Recognisable additions include Thin Air, Storage Drawers, YUNG’s Better Dungeons, Map Atlases and Simple Voice Chat, alongside custom apocalypse systems and numerous atmosphere and performance mods.
This is less a relaxed building world and more a shared survival campaign. A permanent server lets different players handle gathering, exploration, storage and construction without waiting for one person to launch a local session.
Hosting Considerations for Plagued Sun
With 185 mods, Plagued Sun sits well beyond lightweight vanilla hosting. Fabric can be efficient, but the pack still combines custom events, hostile entities, structures, quests and active world generation. In practice, CPU performance is often just as important as memory, particularly when several players explore in different directions.
New chunk generation commonly causes the sharpest temporary load. Keeping exploration coordinated and using sensible simulation and view distances can help if players begin noticing delayed mobs, block lag or slow chunk delivery. Memory demand may also rise as the world grows and more players keep separate areas active.
For a long-running campaign, we recommend:
- Starting on the Premium range rather than choosing purely by the lowest memory figure.
- Keeping the server and every client on the same pack release and Fabric version.
- Taking a world backup before pack updates or meaningful configuration changes.
- Checking timings and diagnostic data before blindly adding memory when lag appears.
- Reviewing unused chunks and entity-heavy areas if performance gradually changes.
Actual needs vary with group size, exploration habits and how elaborate your underground base becomes. You can adjust the service as the campaign develops rather than guessing everything on day one.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform delivers native CPU performance on hardware selected for modded Minecraft, helping during busy exploration and combat.
CreeperPanel gives you graphical mod and configuration controls plus built-in lag diagnostics. On eligible Premium services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server state, explain likely causes and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
We have hosted large modded communities for over 13 years. When an apocalypse pack behaves like an apocalypse pack, real support staff are available to help untangle it.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
