Your settings for a medieval RPG
Once your group agrees how it wants to play, keeping those choices shouldn't mean redoing them after each pack update. Config Layers provides a visual editor for supported mod settings on NeoForge 1.21 and newer packs.
Your chosen values are stored in a separate JSON layer. A Java agent merges them when the server launches, leaving the pack's original configuration files untouched. Pack or mod updates therefore don't overwrite those choices.
That separation lets you customise supported settings without maintaining edited copies of the pack's own files. You can keep the decisions your friends agreed on while letting the pack receive its updates. The panel handles the separation; you don't need to remember which original file you changed weeks ago.
Get an explorer somewhere safe
When a friend gets stranded during exploration, helping them shouldn't require everyone to abandon what they're doing. Player Manager shows where a player is and what they're carrying or wearing, so you can check their situation from CreeperPanel.
You can then move them somewhere safe from the panel. There's no need to send another friend out purely to locate them first.
