Host your Monsters&Machines server

Monsters&Machines server hosting with CreeperHost puts your shared world at the centre, with panel features built to help you look after it. The pack’s premise follows survivors living in underground shelters after civilisation has collapsed. Exploration takes them back to a surface occupied by monsters, while forgotten technology and machines form part of rebuilding. For you and your friends, that means a world worth keeping, settings you may want to make your own, and the occasional explorer who needs a hand getting home.

Your rules for a ruined world

You shouldn’t have to redo your server’s settings just because you update the pack. Config Layers lets you customise supported mod settings through CreeperPanel while keeping your choices separate from the pack’s original configuration files.

For NeoForge packs on Minecraft 1.21 and newer, including the version used by Monsters&Machines, your chosen values are stored in a separate JSON layer. A Java agent merges those values when the server launches, without rewriting the original files. That separation means pack or mod updates don’t overwrite your choices.

You can keep the settings your friends have agreed on without turning each update into another round of file editing. The pack’s files stay intact, and your changes remain yours.

Keep the rebuilding worth keeping

A bad update or an experiment with mods shouldn’t mean accepting the loss of progress your friends would hate to repeat. SaveGuard on Premium and Pro gives your active server incremental recovery points, stored separately from your allocated game-server disk.

Only changed data needs additional storage between recovery points. Your history therefore doesn’t compete with the world itself for that disk space, and you can choose from the available recovery points shown in CreeperPanel.

Before you confirm a restore, the panel shows which files will be added, changed or removed. You’re not pressing a button and hoping it affects the right things. You can see what the restore will change before committing, whether you’re undoing an update or returning to an earlier state of your shared world.

Bring surface explorers back safely

When a friend gets stranded during exploration, you want to help them, not spend the evening guessing where they’ve ended up. Player Manager shows their location and what they’re carrying or wearing in CreeperPanel.

You can see where they are and move them somewhere safe from the panel. That gives you a direct way to help someone return without asking them to navigate back through trouble first.

The useful part is having the information and the action together: check the player’s position, see their equipment, then decide whether they need moving. You stay in charge of the intervention, and your friend can get back to playing.

Got questions?

Yes. Order from a modpack page and the selected pack is ready to install. You can also change versions or choose another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.

Our installer prepares the Minecraft version, loader and server files, setting aside recognised client-only mods and addons that depend on them. On supported Forge and NeoForge startup paths, our tools can identify a further client-only crash, disable the responsible file and restart your instance. The file is retained, the panel explains what changed, and that file is remembered for future installations. We have been building our client-pack-to-server tooling since 2017.

Yep. Search for extra mods in CreeperPanel, then install, update, enable or disable them alongside your pack. The panel checks the Minecraft version and modloader, brings in required dependencies and identifies known client-only mods. Your additions stay separate from the pack files, ready for the next pack update.

On Premium and Pro, SaveGuard backs up your supported game saves hourly on a separate machine, with up to 7 days of history. Choose a restore point in CreeperPanel, review the files it will change and confirm. SaveGuard backs up your current world before you roll back too. SaveGuard retention policy

Open Instant Refund in CreeperPanel to see your available refund amount and whether it returns to your payment method or account credit. Review the details, confirm, and it is processed automatically. Instant Refund is available on both Eco and Premium.

On Eco and Premium, Save Your World keeps your supported game saves for up to a year after your service ends, including after a missed payment, and emails you a download link. Keep a copy or take it to another host. Return while the archive is available and CreeperPanel can set up the game and restore your save to your new service. Save Your World policy

Eco is an option for lighter packs. Premium is our usual recommendation for modded Minecraft, with newer hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory and Ask Theo. Choose room for the pack, world and friends you want to bring together.

CreeperHost's generative AI tools drafted this description from information freely available to the public and facts about our own hosting. Our pack automation has been built and improved by experienced members of the modded Minecraft community since 2017; AI helps us describe that enormous catalogue, it does not make the server packs. We review and replace these drafts as time allows or when somebody flags one for the human touch. Spotted an inaccuracy? Please let us know.
