A Story Shared Across the Realms
Twilight of the Realms is a map-based RPG for Minecraft 1.20.1, built around quests, exploration, magic and a world trapped in darkness. It runs on Forge 47.4.10 and combines its narrative map with a substantial mod list.
Recognisable additions include Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks, The Twilight Forest, Ice and Fire, Alex’s Mobs, Mowzie’s Mobs, Cataclysm, Waystones and Sophisticated Backpacks. Together, they broaden combat, travel, enemies and equipment without turning the pack into a conventional kitchen-sink sandbox.
The project is still unfinished and its available releases are beta builds. Treat each update carefully and expect the adventure to grow or change as development continues.

CPU and memory
A pack of this size commonly needs more memory headroom than a lighter adventure pack, particularly during startup and when several dimensions or populated areas are loaded. RAM is only part of the picture: strong single-core CPU performance often has a bigger effect on server tick health.
Busy fights, numerous modded creatures and complex player builds can all increase tick time. Premium is the sensible starting range for a group planning a longer playthrough, while larger or more active communities may need to move up as their world develops.
Maps, exploration and updates
Because this is a map-led experience, make sure every player uses the same pack release as the server. Mismatched mods or configs are a common cause of failed connections and unexpected behaviour.
Exploring newly generated areas or dimensions can produce short bursts of extra work. These are usually most noticeable when multiple players travel in different directions at once.
Beta updates deserve a backup first. Keep copies of the world, player data and configuration files, then check the updated map or pack notes before changing a live server. Avoid swapping world files mid-adventure unless the release specifically requires it.
