SurviveArchive blends Blue Archive and Halo-inspired themes with hardcore survival, horror, exploration, and combat. It runs on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.10 and contains 194 mods, making it broad enough for a lasting shared world without entering giant kitchen-sink territory.

Recognisable additions include Create, Silent Gear, The Graveyard, Traveler’s Backpack, Lootr, and Xaero’s Minimap. Weapon-focused mods sit alongside survival systems, hostile encounters, structures, equipment progression, and automation.

That mix works particularly well with a regular group. Players can split into scavengers, builders, fighters, and engineers, then regroup when somebody discovers somewhere that looks absolutely safe and definitely is not.

What commonly drives server load

Exploration packs tend to hit the CPU hardest when several players travel in different directions and generate fresh chunks simultaneously. Structures, hostile mobs, loot generation, and combat all add work during those trips. Expect brief load spikes to be more likely while the world is expanding than when everyone remains around an established base.

Create machinery can also become significant later. A few sensible builds are rarely the problem; sprawling factories, permanently loaded contraptions, and large automated farms can gradually increase tick time.

Memory headroom matters too. The server must hold Forge, the pack, active chunks, entities, and player data without constantly fighting for space. An active group should favour Premium over an entry-level plan, particularly if the world will run for months.

Keeping the world responsive

Set view and simulation distances for the group you actually have, not the maximum a settings box permits. If players plan to range widely, pregenerating the main play area can move much of the chunk-generation work away from live sessions.

Keep regular world backups before pack updates or substantial configuration changes. If performance drops, measure tick time, loaded chunks, entities, and machinery before removing mods at random.

Included visual effects and shaders primarily affect each player’s computer. Turning those down may improve client frame rate, but it will not usually cure server tick lag.
