Farming Overloaded is a Forge 1.20.1 pack built around growing, processing, cooking, and turning agriculture into meaningful progression. Quests provide direction, while exploration and RPG elements give your group reasons to leave the fields occasionally.

Its broad mod selection includes Mystical Agriculture, Botany Pots, Farmer’s Respite, TofuCraft Reload, Iron Furnaces, Sophisticated Backpacks, Waystones, Dungeons Arise, and Deeper and Darker. That mix supports large farms and organised storage while still leaving room for dungeon trips, new structures, and group adventures.

With 609 mods, this is a substantial pack rather than a lightweight farming add-on. There is plenty here for a server intended to run for weeks or months.

Large Forge packs commonly need more memory during startup and world loading than their mod count alone suggests. Leave headroom rather than sizing the server around the bare minimum needed to reach the menu. Updates, backups, and later-game bases can all expose a setup that was only just coping.

Exploration is another common pressure point. Dungeons Arise, additional villages, improved monuments, and other world-generation mods do more work when players enter fresh terrain. Several people travelling in different directions can cause short tick delays, especially while chunks are being generated. Keeping the server on fast storage and a strong modern CPU matters more than chasing an oversized memory figure.

Farming packs can also become busier over time. Large crop areas, Botany Pots, processing blocks, item movement, and loaded chunks may add steady tick work. That does not mean you must restrict normal play; it means sprawling automation should be built thoughtfully and checked if performance changes.
