Every dimension is fully overhauled, creating a broader journey beyond the Overworld. The Aether and Twilight Forest are available for discovery, with more dimensional content expected through future updates. Waystones provide quick travel between established locations, while JourneyMap integration helps players chart unfamiliar territory and keep track of discoveries.
Custom mobs and bosses add danger to expeditions, and the pack includes many dungeons filled with rare loot. Exploration can lead from unusual landscapes and structures to challenging encounters, giving groups plenty to investigate together.
Build, Craft, and Progress
Depths & Dimensions supports several technical and magical approaches to progression. The catalogue includes Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Create, Industrial Foregoing, Thermal technologies, Botania, Ender IO, and Draconic Evolution, offering a wide selection of machines, automation tools, storage systems, and advanced crafting paths.
Players can also expand their bases with furniture, roofs, decorative blocks, backpacks, bookshelves, food additions, and other quality-of-life features. Enchantments, equipment upgrades, and utility items add further ways to prepare for dangerous areas and demanding encounters.
