The pack’s harder variants add Mowzie’s Mobs, Zombie Awareness, and Born in Chaos, creating a more demanding experience for players who want stronger threats alongside the existing cave content. The hard version is the latest listed release, making it the most challenging option in the catalogue.
The pack can be played alone or with friends, with exploration and survival at the centre of the experience. Its combination of cave-focused content and hostile-mob additions gives each journey a stronger sense of danger.
Choose Your Difficulty
Alex's Cave's extras has easy, medium, and hard variations with different mod selections. Easy includes Quark, Waystones, Sophisticated Backpacks, and Easy Villagers. Medium includes Quark and Waystones, along with Mowzie’s Mobs and Zombie Awareness. Hard removes those convenience additions and includes Mowzie’s Mobs, Zombie Awareness, and Born in Chaos.
Waystones in the easier variants provide fast travel between placed waystones, helping players move between established locations without retracing every path. Easy Villagers and Sophisticated Backpacks add further convenience to that version, while the harder choices focus more heavily on survival pressure.
