A Broad Pack Built for Group Play

New Servo Pack combines 99 mods on Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47.4.2. It is deliberately varied, giving players several directions to follow rather than pushing the whole server down one progression path.

Mekanism, Tinkers’ Construct, and CC: Tweaked give technically minded players plenty to build. Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks covers magic, while Ad Astra and The Twilight Forest open up exploration beyond the usual Overworld routine. Farmer’s Delight, Supplementaries, Sophisticated Backpacks, and furniture additions help turn the shared base into somewhere worth returning to.

That variety works particularly well on a server: players can specialise, trade discoveries, and bring their latest questionable contraption back to town.

World generation and exploration

Exploration-heavy play commonly creates short bursts of extra CPU use while the server generates terrain and structures. If several players head in different directions—or visit different dimensions—the effect is more noticeable. Pre-generating frequently used areas can make later travel smoother and reduce sudden generation spikes.

Explored worlds also grow steadily on disk. Keep backups, but review older copies occasionally so abandoned snapshots do not quietly consume storage forever.

Machines, mobs, and busy bases

A 99-mod Forge server is not exceptionally huge by modern modpack standards, but developed worlds can still become demanding. Large Mekanism builds, constantly active machines, dense animal areas, dropped items, and heavily populated bases can all add to server tick time.

Memory needs commonly rise as more dimensions and chunks remain active. Fast CPU performance matters just as much as adding RAM, particularly once multiple players are spread across the world. Premium gives this pack better breathing room for regular groups and worlds intended to last.

Configuration also deserves some attention. Reasonable chunk-loading rules, sensible entity limits, and occasional performance checks usually help more than throwing memory at every slowdown.
