About the games, you may not have known we host

Did you know that we offer over 40 games on our website! As popular as our Minecraft servers are, we hold an array of games. Today I would like to tell you about some of the other games we host.

Here is a list of some of our favourite survival games.

Terraria

Terraria is a 2D pixel action-adventure sandbox game. A Sandbox game means that the player does not have to follow any structured gameplay and is free to roam about the world as they please. The key to Terraria is to survive, and it is up to you what you do with your time. Dig, fight, explore or build! The randomly generated world in which you are placed will have many different biomes for you to explore. Not to mention crazy monsters and cool resources to find. Along your travels, you may encounter mysterious allies, which will benefit you with added buffs and perks. For example, a nurse ally will allow you to have more than 100 health. Make sure to build up houses to keep everyone safe as the nights get dark and dangerous. Terraria blends elements of classic action games with the freedom of open world, providing a truly different adventure for everyone.

Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2 is a co-operative action horror first-person shooter. The goal is to survive through a zombie apocalypse. It will take you and your friends through various environments such as cities, swamps, and cemeteries across five expansive campaigns. You will play as one of four survivors armed with an array of classic and upgraded devastating weapons. In addition to firearms, there are many melee weapons which you can bludgeon, slice and dice through infected with. Chainsaws and axes, even a frying pan? Good trusty frying pan. A warning to players that Left 4 Dead 2 features intense violence, blood, and gore (including decapitation or dismemberment of zombie-like creatures) and some strong language.

Don’t Starve Together

Don’t Starve Together is a multiplayer survival game. It has a unique whimsical yet creepy art style. Experience the rein of giants, new characters, seasons, creatures, and biomes. Enter a strange and unexplored world and gather resources to craft items and structures that will help in your success to survival. Play your way as you unravel the mysteries of the land. Cooperate with your friends in a private game or try to survive with strangers online. Work with other players to survive the harsh environment or venture out on your own. Do whatever it takes, but most importantly, Don't Starve.

Rust

Rust is a multiplayer survival game. You will be made to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. You can build fires and shelter, kill animals and maybe the odd player for meat if they happen to be on the hunt. It might be worth getting to them first if it means survival. This game is not appropriate for all ages as it contains violence, gore, and nudity. It’s up to you what survival route you take, but It would be beneficial to play alongside friends to build up a protected base for you all.

7 Days To Die

The game thrusts the player into the aftermath of the fall of civilisation. Left with your wits and bare hands to survive. Players must explore the open world alone or with friends to build tools, weapons, and shelter against the dangerous world of undead and infected wildlife. 7 days to die is an early access game. This means that they are continuing to develop the game, so if you find it’s not something you’re that into to begin with, then it may be something to try when it's further in its development. The game is described as a “unique combination of first-person shooter, survival horror, tower defence, and role-playing games.” You will be expected to fight, loot, mine, and explore to get through this treacherous world. How long will you survive?

For those who are not interested in survival games, here’s a favourite that you can really have fun and a good laugh on.

Garry’s Mod

Garry’s Mod is a physics sandbox. There are not any predefined aims or goals. The tools are given to you and you are left to play. Spawn in objects and weld them together to create your contraptions, whether this be a car or a rocket or something completely made up. You can play alone or join thousands of players online. If you have a desire for more, the community has made amazing content which has added hundreds of unique modes to the game that you can play with your friends. Games such as Prop hunt where you disguise yourself as any object in the game while someone else hunts you all down trying to figure out if the object is you or literally just an object. Or there is a game mode called Trouble in terrorist town where some people are going around as traitors who are murdering the innocent and the innocent must figure out who are the traitors before they all die.
