Advanced: CyberDuck SFTP Guide

Firstly, download and install CyberDuck. This can be used on either Mac or Windows. You can do this by going to the CyberDuck website below:

cyberduck.io

You will then need to login to the panel at https://panel.creeper.host. After this, oress "Virtual Server" on the left menu, then "SSH/SFTP Access".

On the next page, click open the "Get SSH/sFTP Key", this will cause a popup to appear.

On the popup which appears, press "Download PuTTY.chppk" - your browser will now download a .PPK file to use in your WinSCP client.

Open CyberDuck, then click "Open Connection".

Ensure the following:

  • Protocol is set to "SFTP".
  • The port is "22".
  • Enter your server's Hostname (yourservicename.playat.ch).
  • Enter in the user "minecraft".

Next, click "Use Public Authentication" and select the tiny PPK file you downloaded from the LitePanel.

Note: You will need to type *.*ppk in the name box of the file manager in order to see and select the .chppk file.

Finally, click connect - and you will be able to access the servers filesystem :)

 Note: PPK files have a limited lifespan, after approx. 90mins you will need to obtain a new one in order to login again.
