Your Farro's Survival server, with the useful bits included.
Host your Farro's Survival server
Host Farro’s Survival as a multiplayer server with CreeperHost and give your group an always-on world for colonies, machines, exploration, and the occasional dragon-shaped problem.
- Install the pack in one click and update it without overwriting your configuration changes.
- Keep progression online when the usual self-hosting PC is switched off.
- Avoid home-network bottlenecks as players explore in different directions and generate terrain.
- Use Premium for busier, long-running worlds with colonies, contraptions, and active mob areas.
- Manage mods and configs through CreeperPanel instead of digging through folders by hand.
A Broad Survival Adventure
Farro’s Survival is a Forge 1.18.2 pack with 131 mods spanning exploration, technology, magic, building, and RPG-style progression. It gives a group plenty of ways to split up without everyone following the same path.
MineColonies supports settlement building, while Create brings mechanical automation. Beyond Earth expands the technological journey, and exploration is backed by mods including Ice and Fire, Alex’s Mobs, Mowzie’s Mobs, Unusual End, and Structory. Artifacts, Relics, skill systems, building blocks, backpacks, and seasonal changes add further reasons to travel and develop the world.
That mix works especially well on a shared server: one player can oversee a colony while others build factories, hunt creatures, or disappear over the horizon with suspicious confidence.
Hosting Considerations for Farro’s Survival
This is not the heaviest modpack around, but an established world can ask considerably more of a server than a fresh one.
Exploration commonly creates short CPU and disk spikes as new chunks generate. If several players travel in different directions at once, those spikes can become more noticeable. Pre-generating the area around your main settlement and setting sensible view and simulation distances can smooth out early play.
MineColonies settlements, Create contraptions, and large collections of mobs or villagers can increase tick time as the world grows. Individual builds are rarely the whole story; several busy bases running together are what usually expose a casual host’s limits. Sensible entity management and avoiding unnecessarily large always-active machines will help.
The pack also includes substantial visual additions, but shaders, animation packs, and high-resolution textures mainly affect each player’s computer. They should not be treated as a substitute for sizing the server around world activity.
For a small group starting fresh, requirements may be moderate. For a persistent server with developed colonies and widely explored terrain, we recommend the Premium range for stronger headroom and fewer compromises as the save matures. Regular backups are also wise before pack updates or major configuration changes.
Why Run It with CreeperHost?
Our hybrid VPS platform gives modded Minecraft native CPU performance on hardware selected for demanding game servers. That matters when terrain generation, colony logic, and automation all want attention during the same tick.
CreeperPanel includes tools for investigating lag rather than leaving you to guess which area or build caused it. On eligible Premium and Pro services, Ask Theo can inspect the current server and panel state, explain likely issues, and prepare safe next steps for your approval.
We have hosted modded communities for more than 13 years, and real support staff are here when your survival world develops a problem no crafting recipe can solve.
Got questions?
Yes. CreeperHost modpack pages link into ordering with the selected pack ready to install. You can also change versions or pick another supported pack later from CreeperPanel.
CreeperPanel is built around real modded servers, including update paths that aim to preserve user configuration changes where supported instead of treating every update like a fresh install.
Eco can work for lighter packs, but Premium is the recommended CreeperHost range for modded Minecraft. Premium gives stronger hardware, Turbo Start, Bonus Memory, and Ask Theo where enabled.
