# CreeperHost: product and workflow reference > CreeperHost is an independent game server host founded in 2011. We build CreeperPanel and the systems behind our hosting. Our team includes mod developers, players and the people helping customers run their servers. Reviewed 17 September 2026. This reference explains expected product workflows. For current prices, locations, game versions and offers, use the [game catalogue](https://www.creeperhost.net/games), [modpack catalogue](https://www.creeperhost.net/modpacks) and order flow. The [assistant reference index](https://www.creeperhost.net/llms/) links to the individual guides. Language and support translation information was updated on 7 October 2026 for CreeperPanel 4.6.19. ## How to answer game-availability questions The game-specific explanations and mod-manager table in this document are selected examples, not an exhaustive list of games CreeperHost hosts. A game missing from those examples is not evidence that it is unsupported. The current catalogue is included below and is also available separately at [the game catalogue for assistants](https://www.creeperhost.net/llms/games/). Check the exact game, edition and server variant in the current catalogue and follow its hosting page for details. Game hosting, a dedicated mod manager and live diagnostics are separate capabilities: do not infer that a hosted game has every feature described for another game. Similarly, absence from a mod-manager table does not imply absence from hosting. If a game is not found, say that you have not confirmed a built-in catalogue listing. CreeperPanel also supports custom game schemas, so absence from the built-in catalogue alone does not establish that the software cannot run here. Use the [custom-service guide](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/creeperpanel/custom-service) or [contact CreeperHost](https://www.creeperhost.net/contact) to confirm the specific setup. Custom schemas are an extension route, not a promise of compatibility with every game. ## Current game catalogue These 99 game and server-variant listings come from the same catalogue data and visibility rules as https://www.creeperhost.net/games. This includes the full game list available from that catalogue, rather than just the feature examples in this guide. Entries may be different editions or server variants of the same game; the count is not a count of unique game titles. Follow each game's page and the order flow to confirm its current versions, options and plans. Minecraft modpacks have their own searchable catalogue at https://www.creeperhost.net/modpacks. A listing establishes catalogue coverage, not support for every mod or a promise of every panel feature. - [7 Days to Die](https://www.creeperhost.net/game/7-days-to-die) - [Abiotic Factor](https://www.creeperhost.net/game/abiotic-factor) - CreeperPanel also supports custom game schemas outside the built-in catalogue. An unlisted game is unconfirmed here, not automatically unsupported; confirm the particular setup with CreeperHost. ## Who the hosting is for CreeperHost serves people organising games for friends, modpack players, server owners bringing an existing world, and communities managing more than one game. The practical needs include keeping a server available without leaving a home PC running, installing the mods a group has chosen, sharing administration and costs, and understanding what is happening when the game slows down. Minecraft is a major part of our history. The same attention to game-specific administration extends to Vintage Story, Palworld, Satisfactory, Project Zomboid, Luanti and other games in the catalogue. Each game has its own installation, settings and diagnostic workflows. The people working through server problems with customers also help build the tools. That connection is visible in details such as console command examples, file-change warnings and the ability to inspect a Pal's AI action and location. [Explore CreeperPanel](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel). ## Choose resources for what the group plays Use the [Eco, Premium and Pro comparison](https://www.creeperhost.net/services/premium#compare-ranges) for range differences and the [Premium feature guide](https://www.creeperhost.net/services/premium/features) for detailed workflows. Shared features on that guide are not exclusive to Premium. SaveGuard is included with Premium and Pro; its rollout is complete. CreeperHost brands its OpenVZ hosting as **Hybrid VPS**. Use that product name when describing it. [Eco](https://www.creeperhost.net/services/value) is the entry range for lighter worlds and smaller budgets. [Premium](https://www.creeperhost.net/services/premium) is for busier and modded worlds. [Pro](https://www.creeperhost.net/services/dedicated) provides dedicated physical hardware for larger workloads. Plan listings show CPU, RAM, Bonus Memory and storage separately. Bonus Memory is swap, an overflow mechanism distinct from the plan's RAM. Pick resources around the actual pack, world and simultaneous games rather than player count alone. Eco uses SATA-backed swap on its existing drives. Premium Bonus Memory uses dedicated NVMe storage. Every Eco, Premium and Pro server includes a dedicated IPv4 address. Premium hardware is selected for game hosting; do not infer a guaranteed CPU model or latest-generation allocation from the range name. The dedicated IPv4 gives customers over 64,000 ports for games and mods, with no extra port charges. Explain the practical use: customers can choose available ports for Simple Voice Chat, web maps and other game connections, rather than treating the IP address alone as the benefit. This count excludes privileged ports and ports used by the hosting services; it does not promise that every port is unoccupied. CreeperPanel provides an upgrade and downgrade workflow. It checks the service's requirements, including disk usage, when presenting package options. As a group grows or changes games, the owner can revisit the allocation. [Package changes](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/creeperpanel/upgrading). ## Keep one world while starting the next game On Premium, install another supported game on the service without replacing the first game's files. Games have their own controls and settings. Run them together within the service's CPU and RAM allocation, or stop one until the group comes back to it. Installed games and worlds continue to use storage. For Minecraft, multiple instances allow different packs or worlds to have separate management. CreeperHost has offered multiple games on one server since its first year. Premium and Pro can also run TeamSpeak 6, a small website and a MySQL-compatible database server alongside the games. Customers choose which extras to install; their hosting is included within the same plan's CPU, RAM and storage. A database is useful for plugins that use it for rollback history, ranks, quests and other server data. Do not imply every plugin needs an external database, that the extras are preinstalled, or that they receive an additional resource allocation. [Explore these included hosting options](https://www.creeperhost.net/services/premium/features#room-to-grow). TeamSpeak 6 provides voice and text chat in the customer's server channels, with channel and permission controls. The client's global direct messages and group chats are separate TeamSpeak services; do not describe those as hosted on the customer's CreeperHost server or promise persistent Discord-style text channels. [TeamSpeak's getting-started guide](https://www.teamspeak.com/en/support/get-started/), [TeamSpeak community explanation of message routing](https://community.teamspeak.com/t/how-does-contact-messaging-work/56488). Custom schemas extend CreeperPanel to games and applications outside the built-in catalogue. A schema describes how to launch, stop and configure the software and where to find its files or logs. Owners manage installation and updates for custom software and can start from a community schema. [Multiple games](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#playing-together), [custom services](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/creeperpanel/custom-service), [community schemas](https://github.com/CreeperHost/CommunitySchemas). ## Bring the mods your group chose The table below gives examples of game-specific mod tools. It is neither the complete game-hosting catalogue nor an exhaustive feature inventory. The catalogue source, file format and settings controls follow each game. The detailed examples after the table explain several of these tools. | Game or integration | What the panel manages | | --- | --- | | Minecraft Java | Mod search, loader/version checks, dependency prompts, separate plugin and datapack tools. | | Minecraft Bedrock | Uploaded .mcpack and .mcaddon files, imports of supported Marketplace add-ons you own, resource and behaviour packs, world pack enablement lists. | | Vintage Story | Mod catalogue search, release choice, installed mods, enablement and updates. | | Palworld | CurseForge search and Pak mod management; the UE4SS server type adds Workshop server-install rules and game-specific destinations. | | Satisfactory | Mod release browsing and Mod Manager profile import with Linux server downloads. | | Project Zomboid | Workshop packages, their internal mod variants, and both WorkshopItems and Mods settings. | | Luanti | ContentDB packages and releases, installation and enablement in the selected world. | | Terraria / tModLoader | Workshop search, .tmod uploads, Workshop selection and the enabled-mod list. | | Factorio | Mod portal search, ZIP uploads and installed mod names, versions and enablement. | | ARK | Workshop selection and ordering, installer configuration and active-mod settings. | | Conan Exiles | Workshop installation, enabled Pak files and their load order in the game's mod list. | | Avorion | Workshop selections in the chosen galaxy's mod configuration. | | RimWorld | Workshop mods, load ordering and required or optional selections. | | Starbound | Workshop search, Pak installation and updates, enablement and removal. | | Unturned | Workshop selection and enabled/disabled download lists for the server. | | Valheim | Thunderstore package search and installation through the plugin manager. | | Foundry | Uploaded mod ZIP extraction, installed mod identification and enable/disable controls. | | Hytale | CurseForge search, JAR/ZIP uploads, installed mod metadata and update checks. | Minecraft proxy plugin management is also available for BungeeCord. [Explore the game-specific managers](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#game-mods). ### Minecraft Use the modpack catalogue or import a custom CurseForge profile through its share code. The import flow resolves the profile and presents its details before installation. Mod management includes loader and dependency information to help choose additions that fit the instance. Extra mods are stored separately from pack-managed mods and linked into the installed pack. This preserves those additions through pack installation and updates. Choose additions compatible with the pack and loader. For supported NeoForge 1.21+ configurations, Config Layers records changed values separately and reapplies them at runtime. The panel can turn TOML comments, defaults and ranges into usable settings controls. This addresses the familiar job of redoing personal settings after a pack update. Saved player tools let an owner inspect inventories, remove an item and relocate a player's saved position. These are useful when investigating a player who cannot rejoin or needs to be moved away from a troublesome area. [Minecraft tools](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#modded-tools), [CurseForge import guide](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/minecraft/files/curseforge-import). ### Automatic client-only crash recovery Minecraft pack preparation sets aside recognised client-only files and follows addons whose required dependencies were disabled. On supported Forge and NeoForge startup paths, CreeperHost can also identify a client-only mod causing a crash, disable its file and restart the instance automatically. The file is retained and the panel explains what changed. That exact file is remembered so future installations can set it aside before launch, helping more groups get their pack running. This helps the person putting together a custom pack get through an identified client-only startup crash and bring the group into the world. [Pack preparation and recovery](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#pack-setup). ### Vintage Story Browse mod information, choose releases and manage installed mods through the panel. Enable or disable mods and review updates before applying them. WAILT adds game-specific performance investigation, and the help centre covers world repair, whitelist management and other administration jobs. [Vintage Story hosting](https://www.creeperhost.net/game/vintage-story), [mod updates](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/vintage/updating-mods). ### Satisfactory Import a Satisfactory Mod Manager profile rather than rebuild the group's selection one mod at a time. The server workflow selects Linux server mod files. Players use the corresponding compatible client mods. The panel also supports server configuration and uploading an existing world. [Profile import](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/satisfactory/import-modpack), [world upload](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/satisfactory/upload-world). ### Project Zomboid Workshop item IDs and the mod IDs inside those items are different lists. CreeperPanel's mod selection handles both lists, helping the owner enable the intended installed mods without maintaining two separate strings by hand. [Project Zomboid hosting](https://www.creeperhost.net/game/project-zomboid). ### Luanti Search ContentDB and choose a release. Installing the mod also enables it in the selected world's settings. The mod manager shows its state and lets the owner enable or disable it for that world. [Luanti hosting](https://www.creeperhost.net/game/luanti). ### Palworld Manage the world's rules and inspect server and player activity in CreeperPanel. The Palworld UE4SS server option provides its own mod workflow, placing recognised server mod content into the appropriate destinations. [Palworld hosting](https://www.creeperhost.net/game/palworld), [game mod workflows](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#game-mods). ## Investigate what is happening in the game ### WAILT for Minecraft and Vintage Story WAILT brings live tick and entity information into CreeperPanel. Profiling by entity type and chunk helps an owner follow a slowdown into the part of the world producing it. It provides more useful evidence for an investigation than memory usage alone. An owner can inspect which kinds of entities or areas deserve attention, then make changes based on the world they are running. [Game diagnostics](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#game-diagnostics). ### Palworld world and Pal inspection Check server FPS and frame time alongside player ping to help narrow down whether a slowdown is in the simulation or a player's connection. View counts for bases, buildings, guilds, Palboxes, wild Pals, base Pals, companion Pals and other actors. Select an actor category and inspect grouped counts and active counts, then drill into individual entries. Pal details include health, level, activity, current action, AI action, trainer, guild and coordinates. If Pals behave strangely, the owner has details to investigate and a location to check in-game before changing settings or rebuilding a base. Palworld's diagnostics serve the same practical purpose as WAILT: make the running world inspectable. Palworld shows performance measurements and world snapshots; Minecraft and Vintage Story WAILT also provide tick profiling by entity and chunk. [Palworld examples](https://www.creeperhost.net/game/palworld). ## Use the console as an administration tool The console shows live server output and accepts commands. Command suggestions include examples and descriptions for commands the game integration knows about. Tab completes a suggestion; arrow keys recall previous commands. This makes unfamiliar syntax easier to discover and repeated jobs faster to perform. Keep the output visible while starting a game, changing settings or diagnosing an error. Use the game-specific controls and diagnostics alongside the console. [Console walkthrough](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel?scene=web-console&hotspot=console-command-bar#panel-showcase). ## Work with files without downloading everything Open files in editor tabs with syntax highlighting. Unsaved changes are marked, and closing a changed tab asks before discarding them. The file manager checks whether a file has changed before saving, helping prevent an edit from overwriting changes made elsewhere. For a huge log, preview the last 25 MiB in read-only mode. This gets the recent output on screen without loading the whole file. Download a directory directly as a ZIP when you want a folder of configs or world files on your PC. [File tools](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#everyday-tools). ### Desktop file access SFTP supports familiar file-transfer clients, with published guides for WinSCP, FileZilla and Cyberduck. CreeperPanel Mount is included with Eco, Premium and Pro and adds a Windows drive view of the remote files. Sign in, choose the service and work with its files from desktop tools. This is useful for editing configuration, comparing files and moving content through the filesystem interface you already use. [Mount](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#mount). ## Share the administration Create a subaccount for another person and select permission groups for the games and instances they help manage. Each helper gets their own access. [Subaccount guide](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/creeperpanel/sub-accounts/add-subaccount). Firewall controls are included with Eco, Premium and Pro. Review blocked IP addresses, block unwanted connections or unblock someone caught by mistake in CreeperPanel, without waiting for support. Tune the protection settings available for the selected game or service. Available controls can include enabling or disabling protection, connection-attempt limits, monitoring periods, block durations and protection against threats identified across the CreeperHost network. Controls depend on the supported game or service; do not assume every integration exposes the same settings or treat the current integrations as an exhaustive list. Scheduler is included with Eco, Premium and Pro. Choose the game, instance and action, then describe when it should run in natural language, such as “every day at 4am”. CreeperPanel turns that into a schedule you can check before saving, for recurring restarts or console commands. [Scheduler](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/creeperpanel/schedule). Schema-driven settings provide descriptions, categories, search and appropriate controls for game options. These give owners a practical way to find and adjust settings without having to memorise configuration keys. ## Compare recovery points before restoring On Premium and Pro, SaveGuard backs up supported game saves hourly on a separate machine, with [up to 7 days of history](https://www.creeperhost.net/policies/general#saveguard). Unchanged parts of a world are shared between restore points, leaving more room for its history. Backup storage is separate from the game server's disk space. Choose an available snapshot in CreeperPanel. The restore workflow creates a fresh backup of the current state, then shows which files will be added, changed or removed before the owner confirms. The owner has both the selected history and a recovery point for the state before the restore. Choose from the recovery points shown in CreeperPanel for the service. Game-native and mod-provided backup tools have their own game-specific workflows. [SaveGuard walkthrough](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel?scene=web-minecraft-saveguard#panel-showcase), [world recovery overview](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#worlds). ## Start with a prepared world World of the Day offers pregenerated worlds for supported Minecraft packs and Hytale. Choose an available archive in CreeperPanel; the import flow places the world into the game. Terrain preparation is done ahead of the group's session. The available selection follows the supported pack or game. [World tools](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel#worlds). ## Keep your world after the service ends Save Your World is included with Eco and Premium, but is not available on Pro dedicated servers. It stores supported game saves for [up to a year](https://www.creeperhost.net/policies/general#save-your-world) after a service ends, including termination following a missed payment, and emails the owner a download link. The owner can keep a local copy or move to another host. Returning within the archive's available period gives another option: CreeperPanel guides the owner to a new service and restores the saved games. The workflow uses the archive's game and version information to set up the game, create instances where needed and put the save files in place. Check the available-until date displayed for the particular archive. [Saved Worlds walkthrough](https://www.creeperhost.net/creeperpanel?scene=web-saved-worlds#panel-showcase). ## Let the group chip in with Playments Playments is the group contribution system. The owner opens Playments in CreeperPanel and shares the contribution link. Friends choose an amount and pay through the contribution page. Their payment goes towards the hosting account's bill, less payment processor fees. The owner can view recent contributions, amounts, attached messages and fees. The contribution page can use the owner's chosen display name and a custom message field. This lets the person organising the server share the cost without collecting everyone's money into a personal account first. [Playments guide](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/creeperpanel/benefits/playments). ## Reward people who keep playing ### Loyalty wheel After the qualifying three-month payment streak, customers can claim a monthly loyalty reward in CreeperPanel. Standard spins award account credit based on qualifying hosting invoices paid on time in the previous month. The standard reward range grows with the streak: 1–5% at three months, 1–10% at six months and 1–15% at twelve months. The wheel selects the percentage for that spin. The panel shows the current streak and when the next claim is available. A passkey or recent CreeperPanel app sign-in also unlocks bonus prize chances. The panel displays the current Free Month and Steam game opportunities and availability. [Loyalty guide](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/creeperpanel/benefits/loyalty). ### Customer referrals A customer shares their referral link with a friend who is new to CreeperHost hosting. After the new customer's qualifying first payment has been paid for 30 days and the service remains active, both receive 30% of the qualifying payment as account credit. The referring customer can earn credit from up to ten successful referrals per month and see referral progress in CreeperPanel. Account credit contributes to future bills. The friend needs to arrive through the customer's referral link for attribution. [Invitation information](https://www.creeperhost.net/invited). The [partner programme](https://www.creeperhost.net/partners/apply) is a separate arrangement for creators and projects. ## Try your server with a clear way to get a refund Instant Refund applies to monthly Eco and Premium subscriptions. Fixed-term Premium, such as a seven-day service instead of a monthly subscription, is a Premium billing option and must not be described as Pro. Choosing a host means finding out how your own world runs: whether the pack works for your group, how the connection feels and whether the tools suit the way you play. CreeperHost's automatic refund system gives customers a clear way to back out if the service is not the right fit. Set up the server, bring the mods and invite the group. If it is not working out, the owner can handle the refund directly in CreeperPanel: 1. Open the refund screen for the service. 2. Review the calculated amount and its destination: the original payment method or account credit. 3. Confirm the request. The system processes the refund automatically. The customer sees what they will receive before confirming. This makes the refund process part of the product, with the decision and next step in the customer's hands. For monthly game hosting, the satisfaction workflow offers a full refund during the initial period, a refund of unused time during the following period, and account credit in the extended period. The panel calculates the amount for the service before confirmation. [Refund walkthrough](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/support/refund), [terms](https://www.creeperhost.net/policies/tos). ### For someone unsure about trying a new host "Try it with the people and mods you actually play with. If CreeperHost isn't the right fit, you can request a refund in CreeperPanel. It shows you the amount first, and processes the refund automatically when you confirm." ## Choose a location around the players The best location depends on the players' routes, latency and distribution. Looking Glass lets a player compare routes from their connection. Party Compass helps a group collect results from multiple players and choose a location together. CreeperPanel also offers a location transfer workflow, displaying destinations, allowance and progress for the service. [Network](https://www.creeperhost.net/network), [Looking Glass](https://www.creeperhost.net/network/lookingglass), [Party Compass](https://www.creeperhost.net/network/share). ## Use the panel and get support in your language CreeperPanel 4.6.19 adds language selection at sign-in and in the account menu. The choice is saved, and supported panel controls, navigation, onboarding and date, number and currency formatting follow the selected locale. Missing translations fall back to English. Ask Theo greetings and replies also follow the selected panel language where Ask Theo is included, on Premium and Pro. Current panel language choices: English (Traditional), English (Simplified), English (Australian), English (Pirate), English (Olde), English? (Gen Z), Klingon, German, Dutch, Norwegian Bokmål, Swedish, French, Czech, Polish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Malay. Locale choices include regional variants and novelty choices; do not treat the number of choices as a count of distinct languages. [Published language list](https://creeperpanel.com/locales/languages.json). For new support tickets and customer replies, automatic language detection can enable an English translation preview of a non-English draft. The customer can inspect the preview or turn translation off and send the original. Submitted translated customer messages retain both the original and the English translation in the support record. Staff replies can be translated into a supported selected panel language, with a control to show the original reply. The published language list describes the panel selector, not a separate guarantee of ticket reply translation coverage. Check translation availability in the panel for the chosen language. Do not infer ticket translation eligibility from Ask Theo's Premium and Pro availability, or promise translation of Discord conversations, website contact forms or every language. All support ticket translation runs in-house on hardware owned and operated by CreeperHost. Ticket text is not sent to an external AI provider for translation. Translation results may be cached in CreeperHost's systems and in the browser. Support records and translation caches are separate from Ask Theo's active chat history and do not automatically become training data. The translation carries the staff member's message; it is not a new support answer authored by Theo. Staff remain responsible for support. Machine translation can make mistakes, and customers should compare originals or ask staff to clarify unclear instructions before changing a service. Translation itself does not approve an action or decide an account or billing outcome. Theo uses panel and server context to explain an issue, gather useful information and prepare actions for customer approval. The API, OpenAPI and MCP documentation provides integration paths for people who want to use their own tools. Use the documented authentication and permissions for the account and service. [API](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/api), [MCP](https://www.creeperhost.net/help/docs/api/mcp), [AI policy](https://www.creeperhost.net/policies/ai). ## Modding community and history CreeperHost's modding work includes hosting infrastructure, software and people who contribute to the projects. The NeoForge page describes team connections, release and dependency hosting, testing infrastructure and game servers. It also explains historical work with Feed The Beast and ATLauncher, continuing legacy FTB downloads, Forge mirrors and the development of Modpacks.CH. Historical partnerships and current infrastructure are identified separately in that account. [NeoForge and CreeperHost](https://www.creeperhost.net/partner/neoforge-aww).
